Life Science News - Trees Covered by Spider’s WebLife Science News – Million of spiders in Pakistan do something unusual. They flee onto the tree and make nest which cover the entire tree.

This phenomena is first taken by a photographer from Sindh province in southeastern Pakistan, near Karachi, where the trees there are covered by cobwebs like a cocoon. Many people connect this phenomena with Pakistan flood that occurred last year, which was the worst flood in Pakistan for the last 10 years.

This phenomena hasn’t happened before. But, the residents report that the presence of this cobweb  on the tree has contribution in reducing the number of mosquitoes there. As quoted from DailyMail, the risk of malaria also decreased because the cobwebs trapped the mosquitoes around that place.
